
At the heart of the Fuzeta, just a few meters away from the pier where the boats depart to the island, Iguarias da Vila was born in july 2018 with the dream of offering more than just a simple meal: we wanted to provide a true experience of real, authentic Algarvian flavors combined with the hospitality that we know so well. Iguarias da Vila quickly became a regular meeting spot for residents and visitors alike, people who value its authenticity, proximity to the sea and a rich gastronomic experience.
Our versatility, with both a comfortable inner space and a sunny outside, makes us a good choice for any time of the day. Our menu was inspired by the sea and the fresh produce found at our local market, and it was designed to include not only main dishes and daily picks, but also light and tasty snacks that make for a full Fuzeta inspired experience.
The spirit of our fishing village is present in every dish we selected, celebrating our traditions and the freshness of our local ingredients. The realness in our history makes us a perfect choice for intimate celebrations and group gatherings for those who want to experience the authenticity of life in Fuzeta, in a familiar, cosy space. Every dish we serve is an homage to Portugal’s gastronomic tradition, with a special focus on the Algarve and Fuzeta village. Our bet is simple: we bet on genuineness, taste and simplicity, and in our story, the ingredients are the protagonists. We work with fresh products bought directly from our fishermen and local producers every season, no middle man, in order to guarantee sustainability, quality and the most authentic flavor.
From the sea to the table, fish and seafood are the stars, made with traditional techniques and a pinch of creativity. Many of our dishes are family recipes, told from generation to generation, celebrating ingredients such as our virgin olive oil, garlic, cilantro, sweet potato, and of course, fish from our shore.
